House Stark Sends Its Outriders To Scout A Song of Ice & Fire
July 7, 2017 by dracs
Cool Mini Or Not are continuing to preview the miniatures for their upcoming tabletop game of A Song of Ice And Fire. This time we see the outriders of House Stark, ready to take the flank of their southern enemies.
House Stark's outriders are provided by their allies, House Tully. Led by Ser Brynden Tully, nicknamed the Blackfish, they make the most of their expert knowledge of the land to scout, flank, and harass the enemy.
Outriders like these would allow for some good tactical moves, letting you control the battlefield to greater effect.
The line up of miniatures is very promising for the final game and it's one I am interested to see how it plays out.
Will you side with the Starks or the Lannisters?

This is a quite interesting design. Bit sad they are basically clone variants of one design as it shows. The horses’ back cheeks look wrong though. As if starving to death. And they don’t look very much like House Tully to me. Rather like Notherners.
They’re House Stark Outriders.
The text above claims otherwise. Fighting for Hose Stark but Tully men.

This line is looking really good
Well I like ’em! 😀
Very nice.
I like the look of the horses as they do look like they have some expression on the face.
I can see that this game is going to cost me a fortune…
Just what I think myself.. 🙂
there are looking fab.
I’m really glad they kept this “real-world” design and didn’t go high-fantasy with it. I’m looking forward to seeing how the other armies will look. Excited!
Lovely rider figures, especially the standard bearer.
Nice detail and helmets.
The horses seem to have a funny pose, it is like the rest of the body doesn’t follow the head. eg. Extended neck and head usually signifies a gallop, but the horse looks like it’s walking. Maybe this is why to me they look more like mules..
