Two Hour Wargames Brings Mecha Combat Into The Present
October 12, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Two Hour Wargames has released their rules for big fighting machines called. 5150 No Quarter. If you love games where you are fighting mechs on mechs, then this just might be the game for you.
In the rule set which is available in either a .pdf or in print, there are options for single mech combat through you commanding a company with 24 mechs. There are options for campaign play and using these rules with the other rule sets in the 5150 universe.
I think mech wargames are making a big comeback and that is good news in my book as I loved mech wargames in my teenage years.
Are you a fan of mech games?

I love the idea of mech combat games but I’ve never seen one with minis that I liked the look of. It could be that I’ve completely missed the good ones but everything I’ve seen sticks to a very traditional mech design and I just think it looks desperately dated.
THW has really great rulesets.
Their cover page is trying really hard to look like Mechwarrior’s. Should be interesting to see if they have better rules then MW when I get some extra cash.
Certainly has a Battletech TRO vibe.
That has very BT vibe and as BT fan I am okay with that.
