Norba’s Hold Guardians Mount Their Bears Of War
April 18, 2017 by brennon
Heading to the tabletop as a cavalry option for your Dwarf Armies Norba Miniatures has put together their new Hold Guardians. These gruff looking bearded folk are mounted upon snarling bears!
The warriors in this force come armed with big double-handed axes which make sense! It would allow them to reach down from their mounts and hack at their foes on the ground whilst their bears start to do some hacking of their own.
You can expand upon this group of three here with a full Regiment which comes with a Command element too.
The regular mix of a Champion, Musician and Standard Bearer are here to lead the way. Whilst there's no real place for them in the old edition of Warhammer Fantasy you could make quite the awesome unit in games like Dragon Rampant or Kings of War.
Have you checked out more from Norba Miniatures?

Ooo they look fantastic a unit of These would look fabulous.
They do look good but i’s haveto find a use for them otherwise ‘d be feeling a little GRIZZLY …. heh heh heh …. yeah I’m going ……*sigh
Those are very nice. Gotta love some bear riding dwarves.
These look grand. They would make fantastic Brock Cavalry substitutes.
Not bad, the bears are a little fat but pretty nice.
That just means their well fed.
That brand… how do I say… their resin sucks, they have nothing to offer except bad copies from other brands and their sculpting skills are quite normal. My eyes bleeds to see those minis inspired (copy) by the “dwarf warrior on war bear” from Scibor.
