Hobday & Hicks Tease More Orcs For Their Fantasy Wargame Project
November 6, 2023 by brennon
HVM Workbench have teased some more images from the upcoming Fantasy wargaming project by Hobday & Hicks. A bunch of Orcs are on the warpath with a fearsome new Champion and some great Orc Wolf Riders rampaging down from the mountains.
Mountain Orc Champion // Hobday & Hicks
The first of the miniatures (that actually got previewed in the middle of October) is this hulking Mountain Orc Champion. He has a proper burly look to him and you could imagine him shoving his way through ranks of Orcs so that he can take on the champion of the forces of good. The armour design and everything is on point but then would you expect anything else from Paul Hicks?
The newer miniatures that got previewed recently are these Orc Wolf Riders. Rampaging around on the back of their snarling beasts, these fellows are probably hunting down prisoners and looking to raid villages that are on the edge of their domain.

Again, some great-looking miniatures that are full of character and seem like they're going to be a great fit for skirmish forces. These miniatures also work really well alongside the existing Orcs that we'd seen previewed a while ago. It's looking like at least the Orcs have got access to some great units to build a fun army with!

I'm sure that it won't be long before we start to learn more from Hobday & Hicks about what the game is all about. If you're interested in following along then it might be worth joining the Hobday & Hicks Facebook Group where occasionally teasers pop up. Also, make sure to follow HVM Workbench on Facebook too as their work is just amazing.
Will you be keeping an eye out for more from Hobday & Hicks?

Shut up and take my money!
More brilliant sculpts that will go well with my GW MESBG project. Very much looking forward to their release.
They look so great. So much character!
