Delve Into HG Wells’ Little Wars, The Paperboys Edition
March 30, 2020 by brennon
Peter's Paperboys back in February released a fun little book which we reckon would be a bit of fun for those stuck at home right now. Back in the day, HG Wells put together a book called Little Wars which allowed you to play out clashes between figures on pretend battlefield. Well, in the new Paperboys Edition of the game you can do all that with Peter Dennis' fancy artwork.
This is an abridged version of the classic wargaming text which features new artwork from Peter Dennis. It of course also includes some great looking 54mm 'miniatures' for the Red and Blue armies which you can use to battle against each other on the tabletop. Additionally, you'll also find a working cannon in the pack which provides you with the firepower you need in-game.
You'll also find something fun in the kit too which goes beyond black powder battlefields and introduces you to a War Of The Worlds scenario alongside some mighty Tripods and scared Victorian civilians.
You can currently snap up the book from Amazon right now and then maybe check out the Peter's Paperboys website for yourself to go and explore more paper-based fun.
Are you going to snap this up?

Martian Tripods, nice ?
I love the art style but will wait to see if these make it to the WoFun format. Great to see respect being paid to the father of wargaming too.
Was thinking the same. Would like to see WoFun continue the collaboration with this as I’m guessing the tripods have some height and would need some extra support to stand. Little Wars is a nice little book.
Nice.
