Hearthstone Curse Of Naxxramas Is Now Live (Dead)!

Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas is now live and you can delve into this first adventure with a whole bunch of new cards of course too! See what you think of some of them below...
The first wing, the Arachnid Wing, is open to all for free from now until around September with additional wings being opened by paying. You can obviously pay with real world money or save up gold in-game and pay for it that way. There are some really cool cards in this new set and they all work off the use of Deathrattle (when it dies the effect triggers).
Will you be heading back into the world of Hearthstone to find out what treasures await you?
Let me know!

The first boss, Anub’Rekar, fell pretty easily to a fairly light-weight Paladin deck for me. Tried him first with my Rogue deck and had my rear soundly handed to me (even after one of his Deathlord’s deathrattles gave me a free Leeroy without triggering the battlecry, so no whelps were summoned on his side of the table). Haven’t had a chance to try the second boss yet. AOE is your friend though. He can summon a massive swarm with very little cost if he gets a good draw.
I gave up trying to crowd control the enemy and broke out my Hunter. Instead of having to deal with the enemies I just powered through with lots of charge and crushed the bosses before they could kill me.
BUT a Mage deck with lots of crowd control and taunt should kick ass.

I suspect that the real difficulty lies in the class challenges and “heroic” mode. Because what I saw of the first boss wasn’t terribly frightening. My first loss was due mostly to incredibly unlucky card draw more than anything else (nearly half of my deck is damage spells, and I kept drawing minions without taunt).
Still I like having a single-player mode for this game finally. Sometimes I want to play casually without risking my ranking, and the arena has never been that appealing to me. I hope they have many more raids to come.
