Head Down To The Woods Today With Tabletop-Art’s Bases
June 26, 2014 by brennon
Tabletop-Art have added some more interesting bases to their repertoire and this time it's firmly aimed at all those people who picked up Wood Elves after the last Warhammer Fantasy release. See what you think of their Woodland Cavalry and Monster Bases!
So not only do they work as separate bases for both your mounted and monstrous troops but they fit together to create an amazing diorama base as well. That is pretty cool and would certainly help you when it comes to ranking your troops up on the battlefield. I really like the idea of this and it's made me think even more about making a Wood Elf army!
Do you think you'll pick these up Wood Elf fans?
With so many broken branches you could do a Dwarf army during the war of the beard. Make the bigger branches look charred by fire would really put those treeman into a snit. 🙂
That would be awesome. I now have a very cool idea for a unit of rangers! Cover them in soot and ash and make them all grim faced!
But where are the Teddy Bears?
At first I thought they looked a bit bare (ouch, sorry for the pun)
but once the horses are on, and that there is not too much going on to make attaching the model difficult, I can see that they might be pretty nifty.
The addition of more foliage and leaf litter would help a lot imho
