Head To The Tropics With Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago
February 3, 2017 by brennon
Coming in September of 2017 Osprey Games are going to be launching Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago which will take you away from the snow and instead dump you in the jungle surrounded by crumbling ruins.
As well as a number of new characters in metal from North Star we're likely to see additional plastic sets too which might have a distinctly snake-like quality to them. It will be fun seeing where this goes and indeed it paves the way for a lot more adventures in different areas of this Fantasy world.
Will you be following this?

Snakes, Snakes you say….. Well, I’m in. All the current plastic sets are great, and Snake-men added to the range would be a pleasure
Also gives me time to look into gathering up suitable terrain.
Lot more interested in this now (got into Frostgrave late, but can see it being my favourite game of 2017 at present)
They look like lizardmen. Can’t wait!
Bring it on!
I think I’ll get more use out of this than Frostgrave. I have lots of jungle terrain and ruins squirreled away for other projects. I was reluctant to winterize any fantasy terrain for Frostgrave since I wouldn’t have had any other uses for it. Jungle on the other hand goes with WW2 pacific, Vietnam, Caribbean pirates, conquistadors, I can probably get some use for KoW as well. It’s not that a winter fantasy city can’t be used with other games. I just don’t personally play any at the moment.
This is very exciting. Please let the next plastic box be Snakemen! I’m just finishing off a table’s worth of jungle terrain for my Congo setup. This would be ideal for me and I might even be able to persuade some of my regular gaming group to join me. Excellent!
Oh yes, Snakemen. The Frostgrave players at my FLGC will be very pleased.
I’m curious if there’s going to be rules for boat combat as well? Seeing as they are based around islands and such.
Frostgrave is really “the little game that could” . It keeps chugging along turning out little gems like this and slowly building into something wonderful.
My brother has been wanting to repurpose his Vietnam terrain for ‘Junglegrave’ so this is probably going to get his attention!
Can’t wait to see what Osprey and Mr. McCullough have up their sleeves for this- it’s also nice to see the setting for Frostgrave expand! Though I do much prefer the wintery theme, if they make plastic snake-men I’m gonna pitch a fit! 😉
Looking forward to seeing what new minis come out as the current ones are great
Love the idea of new plastic minis for this. Might dig out some of the old Darkest Africa range from Foundry too!
