1st Corps Head Off To Solve Mysteries With New Heroes & Villains
December 20, 2016 by brennon
If you like solving a mystery or two then these new 25/28mm sets from 1st Corps might be just what you need. Based on some famous faces you can now head off on a proper adventure as you uncover mysteries and discover ancient treasures long thought forgotten.
Leading the way we have the Nosey Youth & Companions. The keen-eyed will notice that it's a neat representation of Tintin and friends. It's a nice little character set which draws on a comic sculpting style. Just what you need when you're looking at this style of miniature.
Of course, you can't have heroes without some Dastardly Villains...
You always need some shadowy folks in the background looking to seek out nefarious artefacts and turn their power towards ill. While maybe not as proficient as our Nosey Youth maybe these Boy Scouts & Leader might be able to solve a mystery or two as well out there in the woods?
'Be Prepared' as they would say. Of course, sometimes you have to bring in the law to help your investigations and that's where a pair of Policemen With Hound sets come in.
You can either pick up the set above or this one HERE if you fancy doubling up or you prefer the alternative style. Last but not least we need some bystanders to watch on as the capers unfold with the Vet & Shepherd.
Maybe like a Scooby-Doo mystery they are going to end up being the culprits who were behind this all along!
Will you be picking up these miniatures for a new tabletop adventure?

That’s not too good. Sorry. Honestly, this IP deserved better… I don’t hope they get sued, but it would serve them right if they did.
The actual range is based on Ealing comedies more than Tin Tin, look the police are in British uniforms. They are meant to have that comic feel to them and @elromanozo I think you are being a tad hard on them. Still each to they own tastes
Ye gods, have those blighters put snowy on the rack. Sorry but I am with Romain here Herge’s IP deserves better (and it IS his estate’s IP), that said I do like the other four photos. However the first photo is not a homage or a quaint tribute it is an attempt to cash in on someone else’s IP and I am not comfortable with it .
deeply grim models, they look like they are sculpted out of slightly melted chocolate.
I like the idea of some tin tin minis, but not exceptionally well done.
