Hasslefree’s Nurse Layla Tends to Your Wounds
September 7, 2014 by dracs
It's a fact of life that we all get injured sooner or later and when that happens you could do a lot worse than surrender to ministrations of Hasslefree Miniatures' Nurse Layla.
According to Hasslefree, Layla is a serving nurse in the Galactic Navy who comes from a planet where the sense of fashion seems to be grounded back in the 1970s.
In general, the model itself is well designed. She has a good pose and when painted up should be a superb character model. However, I would say that I doubt she is the most practical choice of nursing staff.
Will Hasslefree's angel of mercy nurse you back to health?
You can’t tell how good someones nursing ability is by looking at them Sam! 😉 The minis pose is begging to have some weapon of zombie destruction added under the left hand …. 🙂
Whoops make that the right hand
More “Nurse” than Nurse.
Would be inclined to pop a pistol in her right hand and use her as a kick ass agent a la Emma Peel.
I just like saying Emma Peel.
Emma Peel Emma Peel Emma Peel
Great looking figure . Would be nice to have an idea of scale / size for those of us new to gaming figures . Even Hasslefrees’ site doesn’t list the scale on most of their figures . I assume 25 – 28 mm ?
I believe they are 28mm
Paint her skin green, and she’ll fit perfectly into a certain enterprising setting.
Looks cool.
She reminds me of Nurse Chapel from the classic Star Trek.
I suspect that was the intent 😉
Agreed.
Losing what little geek cred I barely had, was trying to think what I was reminded of with the figure but just join the dots
*hangs head in shame*
