Hasslefree Miniatures’ Thora Brings The Hammer Down
August 31, 2019 by brennon
Hasslefree Miniatures has finished off work on a new character that seems like she'd be the perfect fit for a superhero tabletop game. Check out Thora!
Somewhat inspired by the news from Marvel recently this particular lady would make a fantastic character to throw into a fantastical Norse inspired force. I really like the armour choices here, mixing in the plates with scale and leather. The hammer is a mean-looking thing too and when she's finished with that she also has a sword too.
It would be pretty awesome to see someone painting up this character soon! Hasslefree Miniatures are also going to be working on a bare head which can be swapped out if required.
Will you be picking her up when she's released?

Thora is a terrible name for the character… and the pose is not exactly dynamic.
I think it’s a clever pun. Plus I think it’s just meant to be a heroic front cover pose
Thora the Explorer?
It does actually say that on the facebook post, lol.
That, and of course it’s Jane Foster as Thor – so, bit of fun and a nice nod.
Looks great as a high elf princess warrior?
That looks really good.
Cool female god of thunder
Looks awesome. Really cool mini. Great hero character.
Will this have a nude model?
I know there’s a link, but it’s to a Fascistbook page and I’m sorry, but I don’t do Fascistbook.
Also, I’m not actually sorry.
Probably not. The nudes get done first.
Thanks
There is the nude body blank for this, but as usual it bears little resemblance to the finished version. And who knows when it will be released.
