Hasslefree Show Off Their Well Sculpted Guns
April 1, 2014 by dracs
To get yourself some well sculpted guns, you either have to spend ages at the gym lifting weights or you could pick up the Woody and Alien sprues that Hasslefree have just been showing off.
Woody and Alien are two of the modern soldiers that Hasslefree have been working on, with Alien appearing as a resin master in the near future and both him and Woody getting released in metal next May.
These sprues show that Hasslefree have managed to get a good level of realistic detail into their weapon designs. These different alternatives look pretty crisp and should look quite good once painted up as part of a model.
Have you ever bought anything from Hasslefree? What is your opinion of the quality of their sculpts?
Damn, looks like it will soon be time to place another Hasslefree order! 😀
This actually looks like a good conversion kit.
..although I guess it is a little annoying that the stocks of both the 416 and the M4 are riding over the shoulder instead of braced against it. But that’s just me being picky.

I missed an important qualifier – “for firing poses”. Obviously if you are just carrying your weapon, those arms are fine 🙂
The ‘Woody’ sprue is for the carrying bodies, hence the lack of braced stocks. The arms are interchangeable between two carrying bodies ‘or’ two firing bodies (for now, more to come in the future), so some weapons won’t be in firing stance.
Don’t forget it’s still not too late to pre-order anything for collection at Salute Stand TA03 (turn left through the door and head towards the blue lights in the corner), enter SALUTE2014 on the final page of the order and it will change delivery to collection and you may even find something free inside your package :-P.
I’m on the stand this year so hope to see some of you there.
I’ve bought several miniatures from Hasslefree…. Including some Scooby Doo knock-offs; Girls with Guns…. I have been contemplating their 40mm “Artemis” miniature to serve as a marker for DBA….
