Grab Hail Caesar Battlefield Vignettes & More From Warlord
October 4, 2024 by brennon
Warlord Games has added to their range of Hail Caesar Epic Battles miniatures with some great vignettes, siege equipment and more that will help set the scenes for your epic-scale battles on the tabletop.
Battlefield Vignettes // Hail Caesar Epic Battles
The first set that Warlord has produced is the Battlefield Vignette set. This Warlord Resin set comes with a couple of neat options for your Roman commanders, sitting back and watching the campaign unfurl on the battlefield. The set comes with a General's Headquarters, a Spy Interrogation, a Haruspex Divination and the Commander's Tent. You also get a Desert Well which looks like it needs poisoning to me!
These would be great sets for those looking to add to their fleshed-out army. You could use these to help set the scene or embellish your collection whilst it is on display.
Sieges & Spooking Swine
For those who like to siege their enemies or spook elephants, you can also get your hands on some additional sets. A Ballista Stone-Thrower might do the job at taking down a particular portion of the city walls that you've been sitting outside of for days.

If you want to make sure that the Carthaginians have a tough time controlling their elephants, you can also unleash the Incendiary Swine.

Whilst these are going to be good for stopping rampaging elephants, or at least cause them to rampage in the opposite direction, you could also deploy these to rush into tunnels beneath walls, setting a properly dangerous fire that could crack stone and bring down walls. Who knew that pigs were so versatile in war?
New Epic Terrain
You can also get your hands on a couple of new sets of terrain for your Epic Battles tabletops. One of these, and my favourite, is the Roman Watchtower and Fort.
Roman Watchtower & Fort // Hail Caesar Epic Battles
This could be used to watch over the borders of your land across the breadth of the Roman Empire. You could find these watching over the reaches of Carthaginian territory or perhaps on the border of Scotland, keeping a pesky eye out for dastardly Picts. The set contains an MDF Roman Watchtower with Palisade fencing. The roof is then a resin add-on.
Last but not least, why not pitch a tent?

This set is again perfect for setting the scene for your Epic Battles. There is nothing more important than protecting your supply lines and these tents could represent that. These could be used by Roman armies and Carthaginian ones.
All of these different kits are available for you to check out now over on the Warlord Games webstore!
