Guild Ball Make an Alternate Sculpt of Kraken for Salute

Guild Ball have revealed their new event model for 2015; an alternate sculpt for Kraken, the biggest player of the Fisherman's Guild.

This new version of Kraken has a lot more motion to it than the original model, captured in a running pose as he begins to launch that massive harpoon of his. The alternative sculpt certainly makes him look like on his feet, unlike the regular version which is rather static.

The Alternative Kraken will be making its first event appearance at Salute 2015, alongside all the other Guild Ball teams and rulebook, and will also be available on their webstore during the event.

Personally, I much prefer this new Kraken. While both of them have the same level of excellent detail, the movement in this new sculpt just makes it all the more alive and ties him in with the rest of the fast moving Fisherman's Guild.
