Guardians & Monster Hunters Coming To Marvel: Crisis Protocol
December 3, 2024 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games will be welcoming some new Guardians Of The Galaxy and a monster hunter to the tabletop skirmishes of Marvel: Crisis Protocol in the new year. See what you make of these new packs!
Yondu & Nova // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
The first of the new miniature sets is Yondu & Nova which offers up a dashing space pirate and a shining example of the Nova Corps. Atomic Mass Games has done a great job of bringing Yondu to life, mixing together the look of the character from the comic books and also the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
Yondu & Nova - Miniatures // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
Yondu brings a new degree of underhanded piratical gameplay to Marvel: Crisis Protocol which should be fun. Nova is a hefty, hard-hitting character who should be a fantastic option for anyone building a squad of heroes and villains for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Both poses are also really cool and seem to typify the characters themselves.
As well as Yondu and Nova, you can also get a set for some spooky goings-on back on Earth. Elsa Bloodstone & Man-Thing will be getting stuck into some unsettling affairs!
Elsa Bloodstone & Man-Thing // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
The first of the miniatures in the set is Man-Thing who takes on the role of a durable tank. He also allows you to punish enemies who damage your allies, forcing them to deal with Man-Thing if they want to make a dent in your squad of choice. Alongside Man-Thing is Elsa Bloodstone, the legendary monster hunter. She is great for bringing more ranged attacks to the game.

Both of these miniatures open a new chapter in Marvel: Crisis Protocol which will start to take the Marvel universe into the world of the weird. The Marvel comics are nothing if not packed with heroes, villains and more so I can't wait to see where Atomic Mass Games take the range next.
Are you going to be picking up these miniatures for Marvel: Crisis Protocol?

Love these!
In fact there aren’t many minis in the MCP range that I don’t like, man, I am so far behind on buying some of these!
Still need as matter of urgency to get a Nightcrawler and a Bishop (Mullet head all the way).
I’d like to buy more MCP, but they are so expensive.
@rickabod41 you gotta catch ‘em all! Get out your pokeball and get after it!
Ha ha! it is feeling a bit like that! One day I will look back on all of the tiny plastic and metal people I have wasted money on over the last 30 years, and laugh – or cry…
I guess the Yondu combo makes sense for comic book fans ?
Why not pair him with a few of his reaver(sp?) friends like in the movies ?
I’m not sure how to approach MCP with only the movies to ground things.
The Starwars version of this game does a much better approach to selling interesting combos, but then those are more closely tied to the movies and less to the background material ?
