Grombrindal Returns For White Dwarf’s 500th Issue

White Dwarf is going to soon be turning 500 with the celebratory issue of the magazine landing in the next couple of months. To celebrate that, Games Workshop are going to be producing a new miniature for Grombrindal!

For those not familiar with Grombrindal, the White Dwarf, he is a wanderer and a myth within the worlds of Warhammer. Carrying the Rune Axe Of Grimnir, he is a mighty figure who has battled across The World That Was and now The Mortal Realms. The new miniature showcases his battles through The Mortal Realms, wearing Dispossessed, Fyreslayer and Kharadron Overlord accessories to showcase how famous he is amongst the different Duradin peoples.

His base also comes laden with the spoils of war and all of the foes that he has recently bested. I really like this miniature and I think it is going to be at the top of my painting pile. The miniature will be made available alongside the 500th episode of White Dwarf.

He will also get Legends rules for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar plus Warhammer Quest: Cursed City, Warcry and Warhammer Underworlds. You will also find bonus battle plans and scenarios within the magazine to match the rules you can scoop up. If you're a bit of a Dwarf/Duardin fan then you're going to want to scoop this fellow up.
