Old Grogg Gets Painted Up For Warploque’s ArcWorlde
February 2, 2016 by brennon
With the Kickstarter not far off we now have a finalised and painted version of Old Grogg who is the major character from their Battle For Troll Bridge Starter Set which is the focus of their fundraising efforts in Warploque's ArcWorlde...
The painting here has been done by Joe Karame and really brings Old Grogg to life. I like that he's gone for a muted tone on the flesh as if he doesn't see the light very often. Mix that with the mass of weapons stuck into him and you have a creature that tells a story.
I can't wait to see what the narrative of this Battle is going to be like and what other nice bits and pieces will become available from the Kickstarter.
Do you like Karame's paint job?

nice love the weapons sticking out of it.
Alex is thinking of having an ArcWorlde day in Nottingham sometime in July.
That’s great to hear, I’d definitely swing over to THAT side of the Peak District for a day of Arc Worlde.
I mentioned to Alex during the KS, and more recently around Christmas, about ‘touring’ the game to get some more interest drummed up. Specifically the NWGC, as I live round the corner. That’s still to happen, but he did mention something about tutorial videos, so that’s a nice bonus!
Arcworlde’s trolls are my favourite trolls. I may have to pick at least one up
Looks awesome. The Kickstarter and the intro set may be what it takes to get me to take a serious look at the game that goes with these beautiful miniatures.
This has jumped onto my radar. What a cool looking troll! The weapons are a nice touch.
I cant wait for the kickstarter and the event day, lots of fun stuff shaping up for Arcworlde!
