Great Escape’s Plastic Gunfighters Now On Pre-Order
May 26, 2021 by brennon
Great Escape Games are now taking pre-orders for their first Historical plastic set. You'll be able to dive into the world of Dead Man's Hand with this multi-part Gunfighters kit.
Gunfighters Box // Great Escape Games
The new set comes with ten multi-part plastic miniatures at a 28mm scale. These are obviously a shoo-in for Dead Man's Hand as mentioned above but they could also find their way into all manner of other Wild West games too.
Gunfighters Box (Rear) // Great Escape Games
The set comes with the option to build ten different Gunfighters which could be used as Cowboys, Lawmen, Outlaws, Desperados or a total mix. You can arm them with an array of standard weapons for the Wild West setting including pistols, revolvers, repeater rifles, shotguns and more.
Here is the look at the sprue for the Gunfighters so you can take a peek at the various options they've introduced here...
Gunfighters Sprue // Great Escape Games
This set of Gunfighters are available for you to snap up from their webstore right now and across a myriad of other independent retailers too. As someone who does enjoy a good Wild West game, I could see these being a neat way to dive in and get started.
Are you tempted by this set?

Hmm…. replace the guns and rifles with bolters, laserpistols and such…. Stargrave!
Now that’s some good thinkin, there.
Or even paint some “glow” effects on the them, for that matter.
Stargrave ?
You surely mean Firefly ? 😉
Same but different
I was thinking the same thing looking at the guy with the longcoat on the left!
You mean a few spears and swords for SAGA?
For example
I like how in the artwork picture their are two guys wearing pretty much the same outfit (apart from the hat and neckerchief).
I wonder if they are just twins, or dress similar due to a “brokeback mountain” situation?
I wonder which company is actually manufacturing these? Wouldn’t surprise if it was War Games Atlantic considering their volume of output.
It pretty clearly states that it is us, Great Escape Games.
My first thoughts when seeing the sprues was Renedra’s tooling/manufacture.
If its all inhouse I’m guessing we can be expecting plently more to come 🙂
Second box is in development now. Hopefully released end of year. Third box may hit in Feb 2022.
Fantastic stuff, I’ve just stuck a order in as I realised I hadn’t yet.
Sine great options on this kit. Liking the sack hood
finally cowboys to go against the Indians?
How do these compare to the Black Scorpion ‘wild west’ minis ?
Ours are 28mm, same as the Stargrave plastics. Black Scorpion are slightly larger , 33mm I reckon.
These guys would be good for Dracula’s America
I have a load of Wild West stuff already. But I’m going to get some more in plastic. 🙂
These look fantastic, if somewhat slightly pricey for plastics for the quantity, really nice set of options though and well worth the money.
Dead mans hand is a really fun game too that needs only a few minis to play.
Here’s a recipe for amazing weekend with friends and/or family. Preparation: – Buy a box of these per player. Grab Dead Man’s Hand rules and 4-5 4Ground old west buildings at the same time. – The “rules guy” of your group reads the rules. They’re nice and short. Friday: – Gather beverages and snacks of your choice. Wild west theme recommended. – With a western film or at least Ennio Morricone’s music on the background, build your posses from the kits. Prime them. – Move on to the buildings. Saturday: – Paint you posses. Wild west minies are quick and… Read more »
