Get A Glimpse Behind The Scenes Of Star Wars: The Force Awakens
July 11, 2015 by brennon
A new reel of awesome behind the scenes footage has dropped at Comic-Con this weekend for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If you're a big fan of things happening in a galaxy far, far, away then this will get you very excited...
Watch the feature above and then let us know what you're most looking forward to when it comes to the new film in the franchise. I particularly like the reliance on tried and tested practical effects and animatronics compared to the plethora of green screen we're used to seeing.
Let us know your thoughts...

I want it now!!!!!
You have to ask ???
*happy sigh*
Already making plans with friends to camp out for the midnight showing that first night. Hope it doesn’t rain or snow that day!
It’s really nice to see them doing some proper effects with models, build scenography and actors characterisation instead of CGI and green screen everywhere. Back to basics that’s the right thing to do
The whole point of the Star Wars universe was that it looked lived in, witha few dents, scrapes and dings around the edges. Things broke down. Scavengers gathered up or stole to survive. Digitaleffects are there to ENHANCE a scene, not to substitute for everything, and certainly not to substitute for a script. I like the grittiness of the landscapes and the gleam of those pristine Stormtroopers.
I am looking forward to this. JJ Abrams gave Star Trek a tremendous reboot. I hope he does the same for Star Wars.
he even has scotty in it.
I got really emotional.
Tears may have happenend.
and thats what I want to see not thae crap has been served us last 3 times!
I want to see the film. Then I want to see the entire ‘making of’!
looks dam goooood.
i am probably far more excited for this than befits a grown man. Everything I have seen reminds me of the magic of the original Star Wars trilogy.
“Keeping one foot in the pre digital world ..” cant get much better than that 🙂 bring on the puppets! :p
