Antenociti’s Workshop Give First Look At Their Roc Dropship
November 24, 2017 by brennon
Antenociti's Workshop has previewed a proper first look at their finished Roc Dropship. As Dropships go, this is looking rather awesome.
The model is looking plain enough that it would work alongside all manner of games out there. For example this would be great for Infinity, MERCS, Warhammer 40,000+775423, Warpath, and a whole bunch of near-future games like Spec Ops from Osprey Games.
Whilst it has the look of a standard transport option for your troops I like the idea of actually involving it in your scenarios. For example, imagine if you had to get in using the dropship, protect it later as it comes under fire, and maybe then escape with it too.
It means that it doesn't have a proper in-game use but instead becomes the focus of your gameplay overall...
What do you think?

Hmm more Warpath or AT-43 than 40,000 IMO. Otherwise an awesome model, deserves a painted example!
I dunno add a few aquillas and that would make an ace imperial agents drop ship, be great to drop an execution force deep behind enemy lines, or for an iquisitorial or arbite detachment, even just as a vip marker although not many are important let alone a person the 41st millenium…
I can see using it as a transport in X-Com style games. It can drop off a full team of Earth’s most elite warriors so they can be atomized by aliens in a few short game turns…
very SW clone wars I think.
And absolute must is Mad Robot Colonial Defence forces:

‘Game Over Man!’
That’s one very good looking flyer.
I’ve been waiting for this bad boy a looong time. 🙂
mmmm. Chunky body with fragile looking tail section. Egress point under the weapons mounts on the wing and sitting on its belly. Not sure I like this one. Don’t get me wrong I really like Antenocits models, but this is a little too bland and awkward looking for me. The trouble is I was too spoilt by this baby:
