Gingerbread Men Turn Deadly In Slave 2 Gaming’s Grim Fantasy
February 16, 2023 by brennon
The Grim Fantasy range from Slave 2 Gaming has expanded this week with the addition of some creepy baked goods! You can now get your hands on some 15mm (and 28mm) Gingerbread and Ninjabread Men that are out to terrorise the locals.

The world of Grim Fantasy is one inspired by folklore, myth and legend and the pioneers that landed in the New World. However, Slave 2 Gaming are also looking to expand this concept in a way to include more creepy creatures like the Gingerbread and Ninjabread Men that you see here.

You could have these different baked creations going up against each other but I quite like the idea of using them in Grim Fantasy for a revenge tale. Hansel & Gretel burned the old lady alive in her house made of sweets but the Gingerbread Men that she left behind have now become obsessed with the idea of killing the children that murdered their mistress!
There are a mix of both 15mm and 28mm miniatures for this new set of releases. The 28mm versions could be used as regular ol' Gingerbread Men in your 28mm games or as giant ones in 15mm.

There is something wildly creepy about the thought of these baked goods shuffling around and sneaking into your cabin, ready to kill you with the aid of candy canes. As mentioned above, there's no reason why you can't use these to fight out a bit of Samurai Vs Ninja action in Gingerbread form either. As Slave 2 Gaming put it; Ginger VS Ninja – The Breadman Wars.

Designed by Ross Franks at Twisted Pancreas Games, these seem like a fun collection to use in your games if you're interested in going down an alternative route with your collection. Plenty of fairy tales make use of inanimate objects that have come to life!
If you're interested in the rules for Grim Fantasy, you can check them out HERE and maybe consider using these miniatures in your ongoing adventures.
