A Gigantic Golem Pops Up In Micro Art’s Wolsung SSG!
December 4, 2015 by brennon
We love big stompy things here at Beasts of War and so when we saw that Micro Art Studios had now added their Gigantic Golem to their webstore for Wolsung SSG we had to feature it here. See what you think of this behemoth of metal...
You can see just how big it is compared to a regular model within their range. I love that it has the lamppost clasped in one hand ready swat someone with it then unleash a torrent of fire from the underslung gun too.
The whole model is made from resin and is quite a masterful project to undertake. I wouldn't even know where to start! If you're interested about the stats for this creature then you can grab them over on the store page.
The Golem fights for the Ash & Oak Club and will be a rather tough opponent to shift on the tabletop. I reckon it would be perfect for objective based games where maybe a few crews are all trying to deal with it at the same time.
What do you think of it?

WOW! This thing is gigantic! Cool looking too
If only I had the coin then I would certainly own one of these
I want that. And then I want to create stats so it can fight the Mars Attacks! robot, Ork Deff Dreads, and Warmachine ‘Jacks in a massive stompy robot deathmatch.
He is phenomenal ! What a bold move for Wolsung to drop this anvil of a mini on us.
But the question is : what faction will I start now ???
I just got my kickstarter Giant Golem in the mail this week. The pictures don’t even come close to doing it justice. 8-D . It has a total of four hand options, that claw in the pics, and a wrecking ball on a chain. There is so much cool stuff that I have a fresh batch of magnets on the way just to deal with it all 🙂 The golem is ‘technically’ an Inventors model, but because it is so powerful it has its own ruleset for multi-player play. Where _all_ of the players have a hand in customizing the… Read more »
Lovely “mini” 😉
Blimey he’s a big lad
I’m not a fan of Woslung, but this model made my jaw drop.
This may be the first Wolsung model that I want. It really is impressive in size and design.
I would love to have it but its too much for my pocket money. would be greatr to see cards available to buy and play single mission with some proxy model ( big teddy bear)
