A Ghar Heavy Walker Preview Clanks Into Gates Of Antares

If you're interested in seeing more of the Ghar for Beyond The Gates of Antares from Warlord Games then you'll be pleased to know another render was shared showing off a rather big bit of machinery for this alien race. See what you think of the Ghar Heavy Walker with D-Bomber and Scourer Cannons...
As you can see it's quite the busy looking piece of kit and almost an extension of the basic battlesuit that the Ghar would wear. I would assume that the D-Bomber is the weapon on its tail and the Scourer Cannons are the guns sticking out of the head.
The one thing that I was wondering is how easy it would be to push one of these over on the battlefield in the world of Gates of Antares? A good explosion in the right place and this would surely topple over!
What do you think of this new piece of Ghar technology?

From the look of it, I don’t think it will be an assault focused form of armoured unit but more a ‘mobile gun’ fire support/artillery option. As for falling over when exposed to explosions, that is not much of an issue for the same reason the exposed crew aren’t – the Antares universe goes heavy on energy shielding, to the point where it has almost entirely supplanted physical armour, particularly in heavy units likely to be taking fire from the most… Read more »
Well looks kinda … funny ? Definately not majestic.
There is another preview up for Antares, this time for a rather swish looking Algoryn Light Skimmer with the provisional working name of Algoryn Scouter.

If this is going to be the style of Algoryn vehicles, I just might have to add an Algoryn force to the Concord one I have planned…
