The Ghar Of Gates Of Antares Send Forth Their Command Walker
January 25, 2016 by brennon
The Ghar are a strange race within the world of Beyond The Gates Of Antares. They are diminutive and rely on their technologically advanced walkers to give them the edge in battle. One such walker is the Command Walker from Warlord Games...
"The Command Crawler is a multi-legged vehicle designed to carry a Ghar Commander into battle. Like other Ghar machines it is a primitive affair that is powered by a volatile plasma reactor.
The reactor’s exposed magnetic feed lines bathe the machine and its occupants in an eerie blue glow – a radiance that the Crawler’s crew continue to enjoy for some hours after leaving the vehicle."
This really is quite the odd piece of technology but it looks very fun and I like the crew that are manning it peering out from the relative safety of the cockpit. Interestingly I think that the Ghar are the comic factor within the world of Antares but in the same sense that the Orks are in Warhammer 40,000.
While quite funny and diminutive as I mentioned above they actually look quite deadly at the same time.
What do you think of the Ghar?

Those do look really nice.
I would have to agree with the comic relief in their universe. Such an awkward piece of machine that exposes a commander high up with no protection. While I’m no particular fan of this figure, it’s well made and looks way out there. Gets a thumbs up from me
Looks good
The walker will also have shield type tech built into the walker itself I think.
Is it metal or plastic
Resin and metal.
Soulman yes magnetic shields, can’t wait to get mine 🙂 it is essential kit for Ghar forces that want to field anything beyond tactical(basic troop) choices.
