GF9 Announces 3D Modular RPG Terrain Range!
April 28, 2022 by fcostin
Gale Force Nine has announced its new venture into a brand new modular RPG terrain set line. Bringing Tenfold Dungeon to the tabletop this year, making devious dungeon crawl pathways even easier to stay on track.
The upcoming Tenfold Dungeon sets are 3D hoping to aid in the play of RPGs with miniatures (or as Gerry says - incorrectly), creating a visual of your upcoming path in a 1" by 1" grid with art scattered along the walls and walkway.
Tenfold Dungeon Dungeon & Sewers // Gale Force Nine
Debuting this range, GF9 will be releasing four different sets themed on the fantasy-side. Including a castle, a temple, a town, and dungeons and sewers setup.
A fantastic idea, one that I have seen before on Kickstarter from Room 17 Games, with removable doors and windows creating a more bespoke dungeon rather than an 'out of the box and go' experience.
These sets will boast of a quick setup, easy storage, and an easy travel solution to get a dungeon from one household to another. There's no specific release day on the cards yet, only that it will be headed to retail this year and for the price of $60.
For the UK Pound equivalent of $60, I am hoping that the material will be strong regardless of it's lightweight feature and hold up well over time. As incredible as these pop-up dungeons maybe, having several themed Tenfold Dungeons in your GM Bank, would be sure to cost you a pretty penny!
What do you think of the Tenfold Dungeon range upcoming from GF9?

Ooh nice to play quick game’s.
This is an existing product but now under the GF9 brand? As GF9 lost the D&D licence (now with Wizkids) it is good to see they are carrying on with rpg support products. I prefer the Loke battlemap books as it offers for variety, but there is not reason you cannot mix and match them together.
Terrain is why I purchased my first 3D printer and never looked back. This seems really expensive for what it is but I always admire the D&D crowd for their insatiable ability to purchase very expensive items in the name of D&D.
I assume they bought the product from Room 17? They even kept the same names.
But where are the door clips?
And most importantly: Where is the Sci-Fi version? We lack good Sci-Fi Dungeoncrawler sets.
Is room 17 still going? No updates on facebook etc. for a while, but still an active ‘one man band’ company according to companies house.
I don’t mind these, except for how tall the walls are. If these were half-height walls I would be far more likely to purchase these.
