Get Voting In Blood & Pigment’s Pirate Painting Competition!
May 22, 2023 by brennon
Blood & Pigment have been holding their Great Pirate Paint Off over the last while in the run-up to their Summer Of Plunder. We talked about the contest a while back now and the time has come for you to get stuck in and start voting as part of the people's choice segment of the competition. Get those finalists to a place of honour!
Pirate Painting Competition Voting
Voting runs for two weeks and will end on 4th June 2023. You can vote once per day in each category and the folks at Blood & Pigment are asking that you don't game the system and make them take a harder line with this. All you have to do is look through the various categories and submit your vote.
Bermuda Sloop By Robert McFarland
There are six categories in total ranging from...
- Best Painted Ship
- Best Painted Commander
- Best Painted Unit
- Best Painted Army Force
- Best Painted Character
- Best Painted Oak & Iron Ship
- Best Painted/Built Terrain
...so there should be something for you to dive into and have a look at. If nothing else, looking through the various entries might be the inspiration you need to finish your own miniatures.
French Commander By Michael Christensen
We've picked out just a few of the entries here but there are some absolutely sterling paint jobs for you to have a look at. I was particularly enamoured by the various Ships that had been painted up and in different styles. The same goes for the various Characters too.
English Musketeers By Jake Farris
As mentioned earlier, this is all in aid of getting your forces ready to take to the high seas for the Summer Of Plunder which will be the BIG campaign by Blood & Pigment and Firelock Games. If you're one of the OnTableTop community and you've got your Blood & Plunder and Oak & Iron forces ready, it would be great to hear what your plans are for the upcoming campaign.
Make sure to head on over to the link above (or HERE) and get voting for your favourite painters and their work though as well!
