GCT Studios Previews New Friends & Foes For Bushido
February 21, 2022 by brennon
GCT Studios has been previewing more characters coming to their 35mm world of Bushido. More Fantasy heroes and villains inspired by Japanese and Chinese mythology and folklore are on their way to the tabletop.
Jinichi // Bushido
Jinichi leads the way for those of The North Star. He has perfected a way of fighting with a strange combination of blade and chain. This means he is able to get inside the guard of a samurai using a sword and gut them before they know what has happened. He is also no stranger to the use of poison which means that his foes will die sooner or later, even if he doesn't land a fatal blow.
Keeping with the use of exotic weapons, we also have Satou Togai.
Satou Togai // Bushido
The Satou clan like to test all manner of interesting new weapons and armour. To that end, Satou Togai here is armed with another strange chain-based weapon. He also wears heavy flame-resistant armour so that he can charge headlong into the breach. A good option for those seeking to lead the charge?
Whilst not a great sailor, Musa is very good at the more brutal elements of seafaring. You would certainly want him during a boarding action.
Musa // Bushido
Musa can combo together all manner of different attacks to make him quite the deadly fighter. You might think that you have avoided his strikes but there is always another blade at the ready. With the use of his Rend ability, he is able to do some serious damage.
Whilst our characters so far have been reasonably normal in look, Botan changes this up. What do you make of this fiery individual?
Botan // Bushido
With Cloudwalk, he is able to take command of the battlefield with ease. His fists are able to do some serious damage to his foes and if that fails, he has the ability to burn them thanks to the swirling maelstrom.
Finishing things off, at least for this particular round of previews, we have Satzuko.
Satzuko // Bushido
Satzuko is able to manipulate and control the flow of Ki. This means that she can meditate during games and allow you to generate more Ki, keep your models free of markers and even offer up extra activations. She isn't great in combat though so you'll need to keep her protected so she can do her work.
Some more fantastic previews from the folks at GCT Studios for Bushido I reckon! A solid new wave of releases coming soon alongside that Starter Set we showed off last week.
Are you tempted by these new miniatures?

Those look really good.
Gods, I really need to get caught back up on Bushido releases. I’m tempted just to start fresh with Shiho & Ronin…
Great interesting looking figures for game’s.
One great thing about bushido is you only need a few models for a warband.
The trouble with Bushido is you only need a few models for another warband.
