GCT Studios have revealed the Bushido miniature that will be available at conventions, and indeed on their webstore for this year. Meet the very well armed Toshiro!

Toshiro - Bushido Promo Model

"Not much is known about the wanderer, he remains an enigma even to those he fights alongside. Whilst there is nothing to point to Toshiro’s presence is the catalyst for violence he often appears before momentous events. In battles involving Toshiro chaos reigns and even the most composed soldiers find themselves in a rage; feeding on the death and destruction around them driving them to tap into unbridled power."

He looks awesome and will be available for the first time during AdeptiCon which runs from the 22nd to 25th of March. This mysterious soldier can fight alongside all manner of different factions and so you have plenty of liberty when it comes to painting him.

The Risen!

As well as Toshiro here we also got a look at some of the first miniatures for The Resin who are coming to Bushido soon.

The Resin - Busihido Promo

"The Risen are easy to ignore, slow, brainless and weak. But soldiers across the Jwar Isles are realising you ignore them at your peril. Sheer numbers allow them to swarm opponents; together they can bog a far superior warrior down. It is most disheartening as well as exhausting to strike an opponent the killing blow only to see them rise again.

A true tool of Yurei, those that wield The Risen pose a new threat to life in Jwar."

As they say, it is easy to dismiss these shambling warriors but when you have a lot of them bearing down on you, and you realise they aren't easy to kill, you could get overwhelmed.

The models look awesome and packed with quality. In the larger scale that we see from Bushido too, you have some nice opportunities to spread your painting wings here as well.

Are you going to be picking up Toshiro this year?
