Build Up Your Garrison Troops For Flags Of War’s Border Wars
October 10, 2023 by brennon
Flags Of War are on Kickstarter right now (for a couple more days!) with a new campaign focused on bringing some Garrison Troops to the tabletop. You are going to be able to scoop up some neat STL Files allowing you to build both English and Scottish troops for Border Wars: Under A Reiver Moon.
Border Wars Garrison Troops Kickstarter // Flags Of War
This is an STL-only Kickstarter but it gives you access to a neat set of multi-part miniatures which can be used to bolster your forces on the tabletop. You get a range of melee and ranged weapons as well as loads of heads, bodies and a few accessories to help personalise your troops.

The options cover the Scottish and the English who would have had rather interchangeable arms and armour during the period. I really like the armoured options with those neat helmets but there's also something to be said for those rather funky-looking "top hats". I'm sure that they have another name but they look excellent and it's rather fun to think of fellows wearing those as they skirmish in a muddy field somewhere.

All of the miniatures have been sculpted so they are ready to go and you'll be able to get these miniatures either supported or unsupported depending on what you prefer. Flags Of War has also announced that they are going to make the miniatures available via MyMiniFactory and Only-Games after the Kickstarter later on down the line.

It's neat to see more miniatures coming out for Border Wars: Under A Reiver Moon and it's good to see that we're getting these digital offerings but also the option for something physical in the near future too. I can see a lot of folks scooping these up! Will you be adding these Garrison Troops into the mix and if so, will you be going down the route of supporting the Scottish or English?
