Games Workshop Offer Up Ways For You To Get Started In Age Of Sigmar
June 18, 2018 by brennon
The new Age Of Sigmar edition is going to be arriving in peoples hands next weekend and with that Games Workshop have taken steps to not only get you ready to game within their world but also building and painting their models too. The first big thing, of course, is the new Core Rules which are free to download...
The core rules are more or less the same in terms of their ease to learn. A lot of the basics you'll remember from the 1st Edition have carried over but the game now features a few more nuances amongst the rules, and they have been explained in greater detail.
Interestingly, if you want to get your head around the rules there is a great series of videos from Geek & Sundry's Becca Scott that they uploaded at the end of last week.
Becca takes you through all of the core rules, showing off how movement, shooting, fighting and such works in a series of simple videos.
Building & Painting
As well as the gaming side of things, we are also obviously in the hobby of painting our miniatures. So, both Duncan and Chris have set up a range of different videos showing off some of the key techniques and preparation you need to do in order to get your models battlefield ready.
All of these are expanded upon as part of the Games Workshop Youtube Channel so make sure to dive on over there and check out more.
Are you getting into Age Of Sigmar 2nd Edition?

The Nightgaunts are fantastic, loved the review, unboxing and can’t wait to see them painted. I will have to pass on this as my current projects are Star wars, Badgers and Burrows and Historical and just don’t have the time to add a project. I may get them and slowly paint them for a Halloween or Christmas Carol story but just may have to pass. It’s a shame, the miniatures are just amazing.
I love the video’s GW have being releasing recently plus a players video will be great for interested punter’s.
