The Ironhead Squats are getting some great new miniatures from Games Workshop for the Sci-Fi skirmishes of Necromunda. Previewed this week, you will soon be able to get your hands on the Svenotar Scout Trike which will be very useful when scouting the Wastes outside Hive Primus and Secundus.

These vehicles take the essence of the Oldhammer Squats and give them a modern spin. Keeping with the Trike vibe but making the vehicles a little more sleek, the new Svenotar Scout Trikes are a natural evolution of what the Squats used to get to play with.

These trikes can be armed with all sorts of different weapons for dealing with the creatures and other killers lingering in the ash wates. You can add different weapons to the front including the Ironhead autogun, the Ironhead boltgun or the Melta Gun.

These vehicles can also be upgraded over the course of a campaign with all sorts of added armour, booby traps to stop thieves and more. The Ironhead Squats also get the option to bring the Techmite Oculi with them as well, scouting ahead of the prospectors and marking targets for you to gun down.

I have some of the original Ironhead Squats that were released a few years ago and the miniatures are fantastic. I wasn't overly taken by the Leagues Of Votann but the Squats are pretty darn awesome. It's good to see Games Workshop expanding. These will be complete hard plastic kits that will be dropping soon so if you've a need for speed, maybe snap these up in the near future.
