Gamemat.Eu Bubble Up Their Pre-Painted Chem Zone Terrain
May 26, 2018 by dracs
Gamemat.eu recently published images of their upcoming pre-painted Chem Zone Terrain.
These pre-painted kits bring together lengths of piping with tanks full of bubbling chemicals.
They have been painted up to look worn and battered, giving the set up a very grimy, industrial feel.
We first got a look at this terrain at the Prague Warhammer 40,000 Open Tournament.
It's great to see them now as finished pre-paints. I think the decision to make the tanks hazardous yellow was a good one, as it makes them stand out on on the industrial-themed table.
I could see them being used in games like Batman and, of course, Necromunda, and they could have some cool rules surrounding them. Especially if a stray blast hits a tank.
Do you plan to pick up this terrain set?

Very nice indeed. I could be tempted to grab these.
As I´m actually working on Necromunda I feel tempted to get me these set.
They have some tempting options now, I am liking this and still need such industrial terrain.
Quite cool looking. May have to grab that to enhance our industrial stuff.
Great looking set for a chemical plant or something.
I say bring on more pre-paints. I personally enjoy painting myself, but I can understand the appeal to new gamer’s and one pressed for time. Looks like a decent product.
I think it’s a shame the vats are yellow. Against the grey mat they stand out so much that you don’t really see the bubbling ooze, which should be what catches your eye. That ooze is cool though.
The second I saw the colours and the name Chemzone I immediately thought about Sonic, and all I can hear is that drowning music now.
Nice set though.
Channelling my best Monty Burns….” Exxxcellent ” 😉 .
