Games Workshop hasn't forgotten about those gaming in the Mortal Realms. They also showcased a new boxed set landing for the Fyreslayers and Idoneth Deepkin in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar with Fury Of The Deep.

This set brings together ancient foes as the Aelves of the Idoneth Deepkin find themselves clashing with the Duardin of the Fyreslayers. It's almost like a clash from the depths of the past and The World That Was. Inside, you'll find fourty-three miniatures that will get you started with either of these factions.
Leading the way for the Idoneth Deepkin, we have a new miniature for the Akhelian Thrallmaster.
Akhelian Thrallmaster // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
This fellow is a martial expert. In battle, they are able to change their stance to combat all manner of different foes. He is certainly covered in blades which would back up his claim that he can kick anyone's ass.
Set against him is the new Auric Flamekeeper who acts like a bit of a warrior priest for the forces of the Fyreslayers.
Auric Flamekeeper // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
The Flamekeeper is able to harness the power of ur-gold runes and push your warriors on to mightier deeds. They can also remove the runes from the fallen and imbue them with life once more, ready to be used again.
I really like the miniature for the Akhelian Thrallmaster and I mostly like the Flamekeeper. The only thing I don't like is the faceplate. It seems to somewhat squash his face. I think it would be nice to do a bit of a headswap here, perhaps with some of the existing characters from the Fyreslayer range.
As mentioned, the set comes with fourty-three miniatures allowing you to bulk out the forces for both sides.

The Fyreslayers get themselves five Auric Hearthguard and five Hearthguard Berserkers. You can also tweak them to be ten Vulkite Berserkers if you prefer. The Idoneth Deepkin get ten Namarti Thralls, ten Namarti Reavers and a big, monstrous, Akehelian Allopex!
With a monster in the mix, it's probably a good idea that you've got an army of slayers to hand. The set also comes with a booklet exploring the battles taking place in Ryftmar plus Warscroll cards and more.
Are you tempted to snap up this set for use in your games of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar?

been avoiding gw boxes, but that’s a temptin set. beardy psychos, fish elves and a flying shark (Dr Evil would love that… with lasers]
While I am not really fond at Fyreslayers that Flamekeeper isn’t bad at all. Thrallmaster also looks solid.
Time to clear out the AoS overstock at the GW warehouse again, it seems.
nice looking figures.
