Fruit Loops & Flying Fungi Arrive In Crooked Dice’s 7TV
September 30, 2019 by brennon
Crooked Dice has released two new sets of miniatures this month worth checking out, both with very different themes. The first of these is the set of Fruit Loops who look murderously cute.
As mentioned on their website, these could be used as a band of odd mutants or maybe just maniacs in suits. In their world, they have placed them in the Wonder World theme park where they race around in their buggies and cause all sorts of mayhem. It is also said that anyone who heads to that abandoned theme park doesn't come back...
I'd love to see someone paint these up in the colours you see here and then splash a bit of blood over them to complete the terrifying effect.
Bugs!
As well as these weirdos we also have the Flying Fungi for you to use in your classic Sci-Fi adventures.
This pair could be added into the mix for those who want to have some haunting aliens stalking their crew through an abandoned spaceship or across a new alien world. I like their insectoid style mixed with an element of the cordyceps which makes them a little more insidious.
Are you going to be snapping up either of these new releases from Crooked Dice?

I definitely love the Mi-Gos for more pulp/sci-fi horror weirdness, but the Banana Splits are definitely a big NOPE from me.
No! Motherhuffin! Way! Stop doing this, 7TV I have bills to pay!
The Banana Splits is really going back to my childhood… Tales of the Arabian Nights, Danger Island… and the Splits of course…
I hope theres a Sour Grapes bunch
Time to break out the Dickies album! They are great. I wonder if it’s the Arabian Nights next? The ‘bug’ things are even better. I have to have a few of those.
Crooked Dice rule.
crooked dice are brilliant
You can tell where Crooked dice’s heads are. Banana Splits is going back a bit, but brilliant idea.
Fleegle , Drooper , Bingo and Snorky
Of course with these need a set of little girl figures in leather jackets
The Sour grapes!
@warzan ‘s going to have a ball with that one!
Yeah, they look more the sort NPC theme park mascots who are wondering how they ended up getting stuck in the middle of your crazy modern/zombie RPG/skirmish game. The fungi look nice, very Lovecraft but at the same time not married to it.
Feeling my age now as I don’t think Brennon ever experienced the Banana Splits on TV (not sure if he recognised them). I’m strange and even snapped up the DVD of the first series (although my other half refuses to watch it for some reason…..probably just her having the better taste in TV and films)
