Frostgrave: The Wizard’s Conclave Releasing Soon
February 14, 2019 by brennon
Osprey Games is closing in on the release date for Frostgrave: The Wizard's Conclave which brings together a myriad of different authors adding their own scenarios into the mix for this skirmish game. Watch out for the release on 21st February 2019.
Each of the different scenarios will add something new and unique into the mix. The challenges will include new monsters and creatures as well as puzzles to try and work your way through as you adventure in the frozen city.
You can see the list of different creators included in the image above alongside our very own Chris Caesar!
Will you be giving this a look?
"Each of the different scenarios will add something new and unique into the mix..."
Also in the list of authors: Matthew Ward (aka Matt Ward). He released two novels for Frostgrave and do you know what? They’re genuinely good books.
Same Matt Ward who gave us some really bad lore in every 40k Codex and WHFB Army Book he wrote back when he was working for GW? Did he suddenly become good author who is able to write actually good stories that don’t favor some faction? I can’t believe that.
I understand your surprise. I’ve not quite as many bad experiences with “Matt” Ward era GW as yourself but I did have to laugh when I saw the author’s name.
Seriously though he really did two decent fantasy novels.
May be nice to have a wizard danceoff on a game one group stopping a cult finishing a dark spell summoning their God ?
Please don’t use ‘dance-off’… that was the most cringeworthy moment of Guardians of the Galaxy.
interesting to see what happens with this, as of this afternoon Nick teased that there is a wizard plastic box coming with enough stuff to make eight (8) multipart wizards.
Colour me intrigued…
