Free Solo Mini-Expansion Coming To Stargrave; Dead Or Alive
April 1, 2021 by brennon
Joseph A. McCullough has been working away on a FREE mini-expansion for Stargrave which will be available to download when the new Sci-Fi game launches on the Osprey Games webstore. Dead Or Alive is a chance for your crew to hunt down bounties!
Dead Or Alive // Stargrave
Dead Or Alive isn't a full set of solo rules for you to use with Stargrave but they give you the basics that you need to dive in and start playing the game by yourself. When it comes to a bounty hunting scenario, you'll roll up a unique outlaw that you've been tasked with hunting down and their gang that is keeping them safe.
Alongside that, you'll also find out what complications stand in your way! There are a few rules modifications to make as you dive into the game but in general, this gives you a way to experience the world of Stargrave once the game launches without the need for an opponent.
This is a fun way for you to get stuck into Stargrave and I bet there are already loads of ideas milling around in people's heads as to how this can be used to tell fun Stargrave stories. Watch out for the Dead Or Alive PDF becoming available for free during the launch of Stargrave.
Are you going to be snapping it up?

I was already looking forward to Stargrave and this just puts some icing on the whole thing. Mmmmm…icing!
Nick also announced that the mini of the Alien used in the artwork is going to be one of the free “spend goals” of the Stargrave Nickstarter coming next week. The photo of the mini looks pretty close to the artwork indeed 🙂
Django the bladerunner in space.

Osprey did a gamebook called Rogue Stars a few years ago which I thought was pretty good.
