Stoic Offer Up FREE Banner Saga Warbands Miniature STL Files
September 4, 2020 by brennon
Stoic has now added a new option to their store for fans of The Banner Saga that maybe didn't get the chance to explore the Warbands game originally by Megacon Games. These 3D Printable STL Files are available for free and can be downloaded HERE.
Banner Saga Warbands // Megacon Games
This collection is directly from Megacon Games and offers up a way for you to get a hold of these for your own personal use on the tabletop. The set breaks down into Followers, Bannermen, Bandits and the mysterious Dredge from this Nordic-inspired strategic video game.
For the Bandits you're able to get the Backbiter, Bowmaster and Thrasher. You also have the Bannermen with the Keeper Of Names, Quartermaster, Thane and Warmaster. The Dredge offerings include the Grunt, Scourge, Slinger and Stone Guard. Finally, you also have the Followers which include the Eagle Eye, Hunter, Provoker and the Warleader.
You also get a set of the Godstones which help create the tabletops you require to play out some cool Banner Saga-inspired games. I am a big lover of the Banner Saga series which is a tough puzzle to crack and has a really fantastic storyline with a lot of hard choices to make. I think it would be very cool to dive in and try and play out some adventures using these miniatures to match that narrative.
Imagine playing out games of Rangers Of Shadow Deep which are themed to The Banner Saga, replacing the evils of the Shadow Deep with the Dredge and your Rangers with Varl and Humans?
What do you make of this little set?

I do not have a 3D printer but I downlaoded those files anyway. Really liked the video game.
The games are absolutely fantastic if you like SRPG’s. One of the very few games I’ve played start to finish – all three of them. There are some pretty beautiful looking posters up on their site as well. Thanks for show us this!
Never played the game but the larger minis look wank.
mmmmmmmmmmmmm arss fufing more 3D printing.
?
Well, in the folder they go. For when I finally get a printer.
Curious if I can still get the cards to add these to Myth as well.
Those are really nice.
