FossilPunk’s Rockhound Unearths A New Dinosaur For Sauriana
September 19, 2016 by brennon
FossilPunk has sent through some new images for their upcoming 54mm scale skirmish game, Sauriana. The focus today is on some renders for the Rockhound and their Laelaps Dinosaur...
The Rockhound here has come out close to her artwork and while this is just a WiP at the moment she's coming along nicely. In game they like getting stuck into the fray and taking on multiple opposing agents at once.
Dino Time!
We also got a look at a render for one of the first models in the World's Faire collection. Here is the Laelaps (Dryptosarus) discovered during the 1800s.
The Laelaps was a dangerous predator that will end up being a match for any agent in-game. This particular creature will be part of the Starter Box for the World's Faire and at 54mm who would want to say no to a big Dinosaur?
The design of the Dinosaurs we've seen so far are looking good and while the tail looks a little strange I think its on the right track. The battle damage on the Laelaps also helps add to the narrative of it being this fierce beast.
What do you think?
