March 28, 2024 by brennon
Footsore Miniatures & Games will be launching the new edition of Gangs Of Rome in April with a big release coming to Salute 2024. Following on from their successful Kickstarter, you'll be able to dive into this Ancient skirmish on the streets of Rome.

Version two of the game will be popping up at Salute with everything from the Kickstarter (except for Priscus) becoming part of the product range over on the Footsore Miniatures webstore. This will also then become available to retailers as well for them to dive in on.

There is already a range of products available on the Gangs Of Rome section of the Footsore Miniatures website. So, you might be able to make a bit of a headstart on your Gangs Of Rome collection if you missed out on the Kickstarter. Still, there's nothing like a wargaming convention to get you excited enough to buy in the heat of the moment!

I know that Gangs Of Rome was a firm favourite with a lot of folks and it was neat to see a different style of wargame set during the Ancient era. Hopefully, we see the team work on producing some akin to a starter set like they have in the past for those who didn't dive in as beginners during the Kickstarter.

I got a lot of stuff in the Kickstarter. I’m looking forward to them getting the new range up for sale so I can pick up a few more bits and bobs that I missed.
Very tempted to pick up some bits from this range…
I’m working on painting the new miniatures from the Kickstarter. The new rules look like a big improvement over the original version, while keeping the elements that make this game unique — mainly the quantity and variety of NPC characters. Hopefully I’ll get a game in soon.
