Footsore Miniatures Ready Archers To Take Aim In Mortal Gods
June 29, 2019 by brennon
Footsore Miniatures has been readying a new unit of Athenian Marine Archers for you to use in your games of Mortal Gods. Boarding actions await with these warriors.
These soldiers were trained in the use of melee weapons and ranged weapons, adept at fighting from trireme to trireme on the water and of course on land too. Better armoured than regular archers they were expected to be able to fight in close combat and at range.
Veteran Warriors
Leading the way for them we also have the Veteran Archer here who was added into the mix recently.
This addition to your force would allow you to get your archers in shape, focusing their attention on a key target so that you can fill them full of shafts. This fellow isn't particularly Spartan or Athenian so he could be used between whichever state takes your fancy.
Lastly, we have the Veteran Hoplite who is here to take control of the front lines.
Scarred and battered, this fellow has been fighting on the front lines for a while. He then lends his experience to those that follow him into battle, holding the front line of the phalanx. This chap would be a pretty awesome addition to a Spartan force.
What do you make of these miniatures for use in Mortal Gods?

Fantastic figure’s to make more Greek legends.
Those look really good.
Great minis, absolute murder machines on the table haha (or is that just my abysmal Spartan dice rolling?) Either way, totally worth it for an Athenian player.
Great minis. Really cool and could stand in as Antlanteans in Warlords of Erehwon
Why wear a metal helmet as a skirmisher…? Makes little sense to me.
creatan felt hats are the way to go, fashionable and shading
Indeed, this is the truth!
I don’t have a big history brain to put on display, so I’m going to just say the archers look very cool, and very Greek!
