Footsore Miniatures & Games have a handful of new releases to check out which power through various time periods. We start in the Medieval period and have a peek at their Richard I (Mounted) miniature.

Richard I Mounted - Footsore Miniatures & Games

You can therefore dive in and play as the valiant and brave Lionheart himself during your campaigns across Europe and into the Holy Land. As well as being King Of England he also had a claim to Normandy, Aquitaine, Brittany and Gascony plus he was also the Lord of Cyprus and the Count of Poitiers, Anjou, Maine and Nantes.

You can also buy yourself a different pack if you want to get two miniatures to represent Richard. There is also a Richard The Lionheart pack which introduces an on-foot option for when the King gets thrown from his mount.

Both of the miniatures are proper awesome looking and provide you with two very heroic looking leaders for you to use in your games. I like that the pose is mirrored in the on-foot version and the mounted version meaning that at a glance you'd be able to tell who he was should he lose his horse.

Footsore's Warring Clans

We then move to Feudal Japan and take a peek at the kit for Warring Clans with Ishikawa Hanako & Nāsumeido Kana.

Ishikawa Hanako & Nasumeido Kana - Footsore Miniatures & Games

Ishikawa Hanako & Nasumeido Kana // Footsore Miniatures & Games

According to Footsore, Hanako is the eldest daughter of Lord Ishikawa who has been trained in the way of the naginata by Nasumeido Kana. Kana is a faithful retainer and has worked alongside the Ishikawa family for many years making her a loyal friends as well as a deadly teacher.

So, if you're looking for a pair to tell a story about then these ladies would be pretty awesome. I really like the idea of using them in Test Of Honour as a duo, charting their progress as they battle against bandits and more, perhaps ousted from their home by a rival warlord?

Witchfinder General!

Another fun miniature has also popped up on their store for those who want to dive into The Civil War period too. Here we have Minister Bone, The Witchfinder General.

Minister Bone The Witchfinder General - Foostore Miniatures & Games

Minister Bone, The Witchfinder General // Footsore Miniatures & Games

No doubt inspired by the world of real-life Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins, this chap is out there to hunt down those who would threaten the Christian faith with their strange magics and allegiances to The Devil!

Many were sent to their deaths by the Witchfinder General during his tenure in the role (even though it was never officially granted by Parliament). Perhaps this chap could find his way into a Historical game or something a little more Fantastical if you wanted to set the wolves on him!

What do you make of these new characters from Footsore?
