The Flash Speeds to Our Screens in This Awesome Trailer

The fastest man alive is joining the line up of super-hero TV shows on the way and a new, extended trailer has just been revealed. It's time for The Flash to return to television.
The series, made by the people behind the TV show Arrow and set in the same universe as it, looks like it will initially take the form of an origin story, letting us see the progression of Barry Allen into the fastest superhero ever.
The Flash is a hero that plenty of people have been looking forward to seeing once again in live action. This trailer has me excited too, as after watching the great job done in Arrow we finally get a show based around a hero with super powers.
Whether or not the show will do the Scarlet Speedster justice is something we will have to wait and see, but so far I think that this trailer makes it look rather promising. Although I do have to admit, Green Arrow's line about the lightning choosing Barry made me laugh.
Have you been looking forward to seeing this show?
FUCK YEAH ! 🙂
I love how much it embraces the comic-book-ness of the Flash, even more than Arrow! Looks fun!
I think this is going to have more of the super powers than arrow but hopfully camoes and crossovers would be good
I was rather skeptical when I first heard they were doing this. But I must admit the trailer gives me hope. The special effects look good and the tie-in into the same universe as Arrow also has promise. I guess DC decided that if they can’t match the universe Marvel is making in the movies they are going to one-up them with TV series.
And I’m totally ok with that. 🙂
Show actually looks like something closer to what I was hoping Agents of SHIELD would end up being.
Once upon a time in the comics the lightning DID choose him…
Actually, it WAS him… and he hit himself… so… well… ok. But it did.
Captain Cold!
Looks good.
Do all the supers show need a entourage for him to get ideas/help from , one of the ideals behind spider-man is that his has to do it alone , the DC shows need us to have companions to flesh it out?
Looks good though , and interesting they will have the Rogues Gallery as a enitity to deal with.
I’m fine with a wider cast, otherwise we have a hero who can do it all and talks to himself the whole show. Also, to my sensibilities a support system really works. I mean, how many hours are in a Gotham day for Batman to train himself to the peak of human performance physically and mentally, stay on the bleeding edge (and beyond) in education in every subject matter, keep track of all events in all fields, build his suits, cars, boats, planes, helicopters, computers, weapons and other assorted gadgets, train sidekicks, patrol every night, put plans in motion for… Read more »
