September 2, 2021 by fcostin
Fans of the Something Wild Card Game from Funko will be delighted to know that there are a variation of five brand new themes coming to the title. Heading to a galaxy far, far away and all the way down Peppermint Lane, these new releases are sure to add something most certainly wild on the tabletop.
Something Wild! Star Wars Original Trilogy - Darth Vader Game // Funko Games
First up for these new and exciting releases and joining the roster is Something Wild! Star Wars Original Trilogy Card - Darth Vader Game. Adding a Darth Vader Figure to your collection, these may not be the droids that you are looking for, but cards containing iconic characters from the franchise such as Luke and Leia will be sure to make your lightsaber glow.
Something Wild! The Mandalorian Card Game // Funko Games
It's not just the original Star Wars Trilogy that is getting a sci-fi themed card skin in Something Wild! The Mandalorian is also getting it's own deck with the famous Grogu forcing the deck like there's no tomorrow!
Something Wild! Marvel Infinity Saga – Iron Man Card Game // Funko Games
Heading over the the Marvel Universe, Iron Man crosses over from Funko's popular board game Funkoverse, and takes control of his card form in Something Wild! Including a collectable Iron Man figure, and a range of different Marvel Heroes added to the deck. As this release is part of he 'Infinity Saga', I am sure we can expect lots more Marvel heroes and villains to join the fray.
Something Wild! Peppermint Lane – Santa Claus Card Game // Funko Games
Marvel's holiday-themed card game release adds Santa Claus into the mix. With the Peppermint Lane deck, players will recognise familiar Funko Peppermint Lane characters across each card to add to the frenzy.
Something Wild! Five Nights At Freddy's – Rockstar Freddy Card Game // Funko Games
Finally, last but not least. Fans of the Rockstar video game title Five Nights and Freddy's will be delighted with this new card crossover. Included in the box, players will find a collectable Freddy figure along with other freaky animatronic characters such as Funtime Foxy.
These decks can now be found online for pre-order at roughly £10-15 depending on where you shop. Considering the Christmas theme and the characters included in the announcement - I am sure we can expect this release in the final quarter just before Christmas.
