By Fire and Sword is a 15mm historical game set in the 17th Century with the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth fighting against the Turkey, Muscovy, Sweden, Crimean Khanate and Cossacks.
I thought I was pretty well versed in my world history, but this is a new one for me. They had a pretty successful Historican too and held a tournament there. I do remember see this on Kickstarter and looked to be a rather in depth game.

I have played this game and it is good fun. Although my local group all pretty much went for western style armies with only two out of eight of us going for different styles (Polish and Muskovay).
Love the game, backed the kickstarter. So no I can get more transylvanians + Poles= Winning^^!
The figures look nice enough, I might get a few just to paint them 🙂
I love this game just lack opponents hopefully this will change now
