Fire & Ice Miniatures Sculpt New 75mm Woman Warrior
April 13, 2016 by brennon
Fire & Ice Miniatures have another 75mm Woman Warrior on the way which may potentially get a 28mm version somewhere down the line. For now this lady dwells within the realm of collectors and painters...
Here we have a lady wielding two khopesh and she's in the middle of swinging both of her blades out to cut the head of some unfortunate foe who has stood in her way.
I love that she also has a pair of daggers on her back as well for when the big blades are just two massive to swing around. I really like the threatening pose that they've got her in and while it won't be everyone's cup of tea I think these fellows are creating some cool characters.
What do you make of her?

“Here we have a lady wielding two khopesh and she’s in the middle of swinging both of her blades out to cut the head of some unfortunate foe who has stood in her way.”
Either that or she’s going “brrr, it’s cold harvesting all this grain in nothing but me bra.”
That does look really promising.
Hmmm…
Something just doesn’t click with me…
I think it’s the weapon. The lady looks like a barbarian out of Hyborian Age, yet her weapons are distinctly Egyptian.
I think I would remove the daggers on her back and switch the blades for a longsword and either an axe or a dagger.
I can see what you mean however now she looks more like a desert bandit with the daggers and Khopesh, which “could” also explain her attire. But I’m not even going to bother with those mental acrobatics, even if I do really love the detail of the model.
looks good.
I think it looks very good! The mini conveys motion and is menacing.
Maybe she is a slave soldier for some sultan or Pharaoh who believes in dressing his Janissary in decorative attire rather than…”practical”, after all you should only armor those loyal to your evil regime.
Assuming she doesn’t like to show off.
