Fire & Ice Look To Fund Their Big Orc Raiding Party

Fire & Ice Miniatures have a Kickstarter project up to fund their Orc Raid Miniatures which will be 75mm scale display pieces and certainly a good next stop as a painting project.
The first two pledge levels will either get you the solo 'Next' miniatures calling out his forthcoming opponent or 'The Orc Raid' which shows this leaping beast with Orc mounted on the back. You can also add to the experience by giving them some enemies to fight.
These two Dwarves will be added to the base of the mounted diorama diving around the beast looking to cut it down before the raiders storm into their keep. The work behind this on a render level at least looks fantastic and it will be interesting to see how the final product turns out.
This is quite a short and simple Kickstarter with a definitive aim in mind. I think that's pretty awesome and if you want the miniature then head over and pledge away.

They look good for display.
I don’t like the repetitiveness or smoothness that 3D casting gives miniatures… The skulls in a rank of skulls lose all individuality, musles seem tense or bent in wrong (or stiff) places, cloth looks odd… We’re in the Uncanny valley in some form or another. Some 3D sculpts look great, but these ones are a little off, in a way.
