The best thing about this hobby of ours is just how creative it is. Fightin' Fungi from Ganesha Games is just that, a creative new project to bring a race of fighting Mushroom Men to the Song of Blades and Heroes rules system...

Fightin' Fungi

Some more on the miniatures themselves...

"Fightin' Fungi is Ganesha Games first entry into producing a line of unique, high quality, metal miniatures for use with the Song of Blades and Heroes fantasy skirmish game (SoBH).  These miniatures will also appeal to miniature collectors, and definitely be of use in RPGs and other tabletop wargames."

A range of very interesting, unique, and characterful miniatures are on the way for their game and it's certainly got a good following. The folks behind the game were only looking for $4,500 and they've now got themselves over $11,000! The miniatures have really caught on!

Mushroom (Miniatures)

You can see some of them above in their odd glory and it certainly comes from an interesting place filled with vibrant artwork. What kind of artwork I hear you say? Well, this...

Mushroom Art #1

Mushroom Art #2

I would have to say that these miniatures aren't quite to my tastes but that's just my own opinion. As it stands they've unlocked a whole load of extras and the pledge for their main set has grown with loads of additional miniatures and other bits and pieces.

Andrea Underoot

If the project gets to 200 backers then they unlock this cheeky looking chap, the truffle hunting Andrea Underoot. Suddenly the entire empire of the Mushroom Men would be under threat! There are some really cool miniatures lying ahead for backers too as well as this backer only chap above.

If this has caught your attention check out more on the links above.
