FFG Create New Adversary Deck For Genesys & The Android Universe
November 2, 2018 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games is looking to delve deeper into the world of Android with Genesys and that means a new Adversary Deck which comes with pre-prepared characters, NPCs and enemies that you might face in this Cyberpunk world.
A lot of what drives Genesys is the creation of your own characters and enemies as the system is very open and fluid, but sometimes you just want to dive in and this gives you a chance to do just that.
As you can see they've done some great work on folks that you might run into regularly like Club Owners and Investigators as well as some of the more iconic characters from this universe like Jackson Howard.
Some of the famous Netrunners from this universe have also been included within the collection like Reina Roja.
I think it would be great to actually crack open Genesys and delve into this world properly now. I have had the book sitting on the shelf for a while now and it needs to be used!
Savage Worlds just seemed like such an easier option!
What do you think?

Those look good.
Does Genesys play like the FFG Star Wars RPG? If so, I have to get into the game and get those Deck. I´m a huge Cyberpunk 2020 (Android: Netrunner) Fan…
Yes, Genesys is the same system as the Star Wars RPGs, written as a Generic system for use with any genre. You can use the core book to play in any genre without any supplements (although you do need the custom dice or the dice app). They are also producing setting books for specific settings, and putting out these Adversary decks to support these settings. The first one was their fantasy setting Terrinoth; Shadow of the Beanstalk is coming next, which is their Android setting, and these adversary decks will be coming out alongside that.
