Fenris Games have been working with the sculptor known as "snuurg" on a collection of Wyrdworld miniatures which should be coming to tabletops later this Autumn. As someone who likes their anthropomorphic creatures, this seems like a fun range to dive into and paint up.

Wyrdworld Bear - Fenris Games

The collection looks like it is a little bit on the smaller side as a whole but it looks like it should be plenty of fun to paint. The clean distinction between portions of the model means that you should be able to get all of these miniatures done in short order. Plus, with all of that fur on show, it should be a doddle with a bit of washing and drybrushing.

Wyrdworld Fox - Fenris Games

I am always on the lookout for more anthropomorphic models done in different styles, simply to help quell my need for more things to build on my childhood obsession with Redwall. These critters are looking really cute and I think they'd be brilliant to use as alternatives in a game like Rangers Of Shadow Deep for example. I really like the idea of swapping out the likes of zombies for ghosts and ghouls although you could keep things like giant spiders and bugs.

Wyrdworld Mouse - Fenris Games

There are plenty of awesome miniatures in this little preview collection already and this is just my set of choices from what we saw on social media. The little Mouse Warrior above would be a great fit for the likes of Martin The Warrior, with that cloak flowing in the wind.

Wyrdworld Rabbit - Fenris Games

Oathsworn Miniatures and the Burrows & Badgers range will always be "go-to" range for me when it comes to this style of miniature but I do like seeing alternative takes on the subject matter. Northumbrian Tin Soldier has done some great work in this regard, as has Dark Sword Miniatures, and now Fenris Games have joined the fray.

Are you tempted by these Wyrdworld miniatures?
