Do you like airships? Do you like more airships with your existing airships? Well, you might want to dive into the Avalon Battlefleet Set which is coming up next month. As you might have guessed by the name of the set, it comes with the absolutely massive Avalon Skyfortress which is going to be dominating the skies of Dystopian Wars for a good while I reckon. Laden down with fighters, this is a great way to establish some dominance on the tabletop.
The set also comes with two Agincourt Cruisers, four Excalibur Heavy Destroyers, two Morgana Submarines, two Prydain War Rotors, two Tintagel Battle Rotors and finally four Saxon Scout Rotors. So, you've not only got some extra support around the Avalon Skyfortress but some ways to ensure victory on the surface of the ocean too. I love how many fighters these ships are going to be able to launch!
Next up, we're going to be checking out the churning engines and mighty guns of the Columbia Battlefleet Set.

The rugged design of the Columbia makes it a good option to include in your fleet and it comes packed with plenty of firepower for defending itself. You can tell your own stories around the Columbia Heavy Battleship or you can build it as the USS Virginia and tell her tales as she hits the open sea.
The set also comes with two Ore War Cruisers, four Springfield Corvettes, four Escorts and more.
Next up, we're having a peek at some more impressive guns and in particular one very BIG gun. Here we have the Rikhter Battlefleet Set.
Rikhter Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars
Yes, that is the largest naval cannon in the Dystopian Wars world. The Rikhter has been specially built to absorb the recoil from the weapon and it comes with a powerful void engine which is able to move massive munitions into place. According to reports, the shockwave from this weapon alone could pop anyone who decided to stand on deck when it fired. I am getting big Death Star laser energy from this.
Whilst this Dreadnought can be built as either the Moskva or the Prezidium Class ship, I think most folks will stick with the Rikhter! To fire such a gun, you're going to need some protection. That's where the additional two Cruisers, four Rurik Class Frigates, two Skycruisers, two Hovercraft and four Nikel Escorts come in. Let me know your thoughts on that big gun!
The last of the big Battlefleet sets for February is the Topkapi Battlefleet Set.

Use those portals to great effect and strike at your enemies from all over thanks to the Topkapi and its additional ship support. As well as running the ship as a Topkapi, you can also build it as a Nemrut Class ship if you prefer. The set comes with two Portals for use in-game (it's always fun playing with portals!) and four Feirk Escort Tokens to aid with your scheming.
New Dystopian Wars Starter Fleets
If you're new to Dystopian Wars, make sure to check out our themed week where we talked about getting started in the game with a whole host of excellent videos alongside Warcradle Studios. THEN, dive in and pick up one of these.
Commonwealth Starter Set - Faction Battlefleet // Dystopian Wars
Crown Starter Set - Faction Battlefleet // Dystopian Wars
Enlightened Starter Set - Faction Battlefleet // Dystopian Wars
Imperium Starter Set - Faction Battlefleet // Dystopian Wars
There are going to be options for the Commonwealth, Crown, Enlightened and Imperium and each has been designed to make it quick and easy to dive into playing Dystopian Wars. Each comes with a variety of build options for the different ships in the set and they give you a good taste of what it's like to run these factions on the tabletop.
Whilst these might be aimed at those starting out, these could also be great for someone who wants to expand their chosen faction with a host of new ships. Make sure to check out the Warcradle Studios Blog for more information as to what's contained in these sets and tell us which one you might go for.
